Aaron Kramer
Aaron Kramer graduated from Northern Illinois University
with a BFA in 1985. He began work as a graphic designer, making logos,
brochures, newsletters and advertising campaigns. In 1990 Kramer began making
jewelry and small sculptural objects. Four years later he did his first
wholesale craft show in Baltimore.
His work appealed to galleries, stores, museum shops, and catalogs. As a
result of shows Kramer has since worked designing the interior of a retail
store, furniture, custom lighting and fixturing. He also creates
one-of-a-kind works for exhibitions and private clientele.
In 2006 at the request of a television
programs Extreme Makeover: Home
Edition, ABC, he created a sculptural memory case for the victims of
Katrina with objects that survived the impact of the hurricane.
