Dianne Davis
Dianne was born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio. She attended the University of Cincinnati
where she learned the fundamentals of art: freehand drawing, perspective,
design, color. After college she
married, and while raising her four children she continued her artistic
development by painting and studying with many of Cincinnati’s top artists and taking
part in workshops by nationally-known artists. Dianne was a founder and active member
of Queen City Artists and has shown her work in Ohio, Indiana, Kentucky, and Arizona. Fans throughout the United States and New Zealand own her paintings.
In 1995 Dianne and her husband
fulfilled their dream of moving to Tucson
where the sunshine, mountains and cacti are constant inspirations. Dianne is an active, juried member of
three arts organizations: the
Contemporary Artists of Southern Arizona (CASA), Southern Arizona Watercolor
Guild (SAWG), and the Southwestern League of Fine Arts (SLFA).
