Judith Gary
Judith Arnaud Gary is a native Arizonan.
Since childhood she has been drawing and painting, working in pencil,
watercolor and acrylic. In 2000 Judith took a clay class as part of her
course work at the University
of Arizona and found a
new artistic bond. “I had an immediate simpatico develop in sinking my
hands into this ancient medium,” said Judith. In 2002 she received a Bachelor
of Fine Arts degree from the University
of Arizona. She also
received the “Emerging Artist Award” at the 2005 Arizona
Statewide Clay Exhibit in Phoenix,
AZ.
Judith works from her home studio in Tucson, AZ
creating by wheel throwing and hand building. She is also a member of Potters
Council, Southern Arizona Clay Artist and Arizona Clay Association.
