artist Howard Salmon Howard Salmon has been a resident to Tucson for 35 years, he moved here with his family from San Francisco. Howard earned his MFA from the University of Arizona in 2002. He has exhibited regionally throughout the southwest and in 2005 was nominated for the Tucson Pima Arts Council’s LUMIE AWARD for Best Emerging Artist. Most recently Howard was announced the winner of the 2007 LUMIE AWARD for Best Emerging Artist.
