Details:

This artwork is part of the artist’s nature morte series and is an attempt to recreate a lost painting his grandfather offered him when he was a child. The series focuses on how memory works as a loop, always returning to a handful of defining experiences while distorting, displacing, and exaggerating their meanings. As such, the composition of this miniature flower vase is a dense labyrinth of textures upon which the artist writes his own story.
Framed: 12.5 x 10.0 x 1.8 in.
