Alicja Kozlowska explores the meaning of everyday objects within contemporary social and cultural contexts. Since 2017, she has worked with art quilt techniques and embroidery, creating three dimensional felt sculptures inspired by consumer culture, daily life, and the visual language of Pop Art. By transforming familiar items into textile sculptures, she invites viewers to reconsider the ordinary and reflect on the quiet indifference that often accompanies everyday life. Her practice centers on textile art and craftsmanship in the broadest sense. She seeks to redefine and elevate the perception of fiber art by transforming traditional techniques into contemporary, thought provoking works.
