Catch portrays a state of reverie. The painting emerged through a playful, intuitive process, with colors and forms added and subtracted until the image resolved organically. A ball passed between two figures is suspended midair, momentarily transforming into the moon. Soft, blurred edges surround the scene, while the figures and flowers surface in brief moments of clarity, evoking the sensation of trying to hold onto a fleeting memory.
