Belynda Henry is one of Australia’s leading and most celebrated landscape painters, and her fascination with the Australian landscape continues to be the primary inspiration for her art. Working in a long, lush valley in New South Wales, Australia, Henry is always absorbing nature’s sights, sounds, colors, and light, allowing her to meditate on her medium by incorporating those impressions into her vibrant, modern, and uniquely visceral artworks.

Belynda Henry was born in 1973 in New South Wales, Australia, and currently resides in Lemon Tree, New South Wales, Australia. She received her Bachelor of Visual Arts from the Sydney College of the Arts at the University of Sydney in Sydney, Australia.

Henry has mounted recent solo exhibitions at OLSEN GRUIN in New York City, NY (2020); Australian Galleries in Sydney, Australia (2019); and Flinders Lane Gallery, Melbourne, Australia (2019).
