Exploring the relationship between science and spirituality, Bhakti Baxter’s work hinges heavily on geometry, the systemic manifestations of geometric principles in nature, and the interpretive freedom of abstraction. Using various media in his sculptures, paintings, and drawings, Baxter’s practice is an ongoing investigation into existential queries through the creative process.

Bhakti Baxter was born in 1979 in Miami, FL, and lives in Topanga, CA.

He has mounted solo shows at Nina Johnson Gallery, Miami, FL (2021, 2016, 2014) and has participated in group exhibitions such as Friends & Family 23 at Sow & Tailor in Los Angeles, CA (2023) and HOLY WATER at Eric Firestone Gallery in East Hampton, NY (2022), among others.
