These intimate still-life paintings capture fresh flowers, rendered with luminous color and sensitivity to light. Twilley paints each arrangement directly from life, allowing the blooms to register both as portraits of fleeting beauty and as meditations on impermanence. Against dark, uncluttered backdrops, the flowers take on an almost theatrical presence, glowing with vitality while quietly marking the passage of time.
