Published by Pace McGill and Galerie Gisela Capitain, Heavy Madel is a collection of color and black and white reproductions of some of Kippenberger’s Hotel Drawings, all painted by his assistant, to his specifications. They all appear on pages from a Hotel Chelsea notepad. A bit cheeky, and not quite sober, as most Kippenberger tends to be. An essay by Stuart Morgan is laid between the center pages. Excellent condition.
