Elevator Books is a nomadic used book store, helmed by Alex Delany, that regularly pops up in and around NYC. Elevator's "shelves" hold mostly out-of-print copies of books on art, architecture, design, film, food, photography, and just about any other subject matter that celebrates the visual beauty and exploration of the palpable world.

Published by Pace McGill and Galerie Gisela Capitain, Heavy Madel is a collection of color and black and white reproductions of some of Kippenberger’s Hotel Drawings, all painted by his assistant, to his specifications. They all appear on pages from a Hotel Chelsea notepad. A bit cheeky, and not quite sober, as most Kippenberger tends to be. An essay by Stuart Morgan is laid between the center pages.
