Esteban Ocampo-Giraldo was born in 1987 in Manizales, Colombia, and lives in New York City, NY. He earned his MFA in Painting from the New York Academy of Art in New York City, NY (2015) and a degree in Visual Arts with Graphic Expression Emphasis from the Universidad Javeriana in Bogotá, Colombia.

He has mounted solo exhibitions at ZieherSmith Gallery in New York City, NY (2017); Gitler &_____ in New York City, NY (2016); BRAS Gallery in Brooklyn, NY (2016); and Taller Abierto Gallery in Manizales, Colombia (2013).

Ocampo-Giraldo has participated in group shows such as Art Can’t Love You: New Art From Colombia at ZieherSmith Gallery in Nashville, TN (2022); Power Of Silence at Art Lines Gallery in Hackensack, NJ (2017); 1st Annual National Juried Exhibition at Wausau Museum of Contemporary Art in Wausau, WI (2017); and About Face at Southampton Arts Center in Southampton, NY (2017).
