Details:

Lulashi’s paintings draw from layers of consciousness to excavate the instinctive drives behind our mass commercialization of the female body. By focusing on carnal points of contact, she positions the viewer as a voyeur who has stumbled into someone’s private room or a clearing where figures have emerged. Taken from still images of pornography and propaganda, Lulashi’s exposed yet anonymous subjects become trembling, sensitive creatures through her process.
