About the artist:
Marcel Dzama's signature work explores the boundary between reality and the subconscious. His compositions, often rendered with fairy tale elements, draw on both the traditional art canon and folk art principles. Dzama's works create a universe that visualizes childhood fantasies and otherworldly myths.
Marcel Dzama was born in 1974 in Winnipeg, Canada, where he received his BFA in 1997 from the University of Manitoba. The artist quickly rose to prominence in the late 1990s when he was recognized for his singular visual language that investigates the depths of the human psyche with a dream-like style.

Please note that the signature is made with a permanent acrylic paint marker and will naturally fade over time, especially with washing and wear. To help preserve it for as long as possible, we recommend following these care instructions: wash the shirt inside out in cold water on a gentle cycle, avoid bleach or harsh detergents, and hang dry whenever possible.
To properly preserve the signature, we strongly recommend heat-setting it. Place a clean pressing cloth over the signed area. Using a dry iron on a medium-high heat setting (no steam), press firmly for 3–5 minutes, keeping the iron moving slightly to avoid scorching. Allow the shirt to cool completely before wearing or washing.
