Sean T. Randolph

Sean T. Randolph is a desert dweller living by these words from Emily Dickinson: “Tell all the truth but tell it slant.” His works are minor parables starring wonky critters and harebrained heroes pursuing half-truths. Rather than revealing a moral, Randolph’s homespun tales teeter between revelations of anxiety and enlightenment. Sean’s work features an upside-down ecosystem where aluminum foil gets elevated to the level of silver, and a jester can be king.

Sean T. Randolph was born in 1986 in Danville, PA, and currently lives and works in Tucson, AZ. Sean earned his MFA from the ArtCenter College of Design in Pasadena, CA, and his MA in creative writing from San Diego State University in San Diego, CA.

Randolph will mount a solo exhibition of his work at Gattopardo in May 2023.

He has previously shown his artwork at the Other Places Art Fair, San Pedro, CA; O-Town House, Los Angeles, CA; and Tiny Town Gallery, Tucson, AZ.
