This work is part of a series that depicts a self-sustaining flower farm and artist commune. This imaginary world is in dialogue with models of art history and art-making. In this composition, two women stand in a field of flowers flooded with moonlight; in the hands of a few of the figures, a piece of artwork can be seen. In each of these works, the artist freely absorbs and adapts primarily masculine modes of painting—interjecting her spirit into ideas for future systems of living.
