Taylor Anton White’s crayon-on-paper drawings move between loose abstraction and playful figuration. Made with a raw, frenetic immediacy, the work captures the awkwardness and absurdity of the human condition through energetic lines, unexpected forms, and a playful use of color

About the artist:

Taylor Anton White’s art consistently defies categorization. The artist juxtaposes text, found objects, and images of houses, cars, landscapes, and inanimate objects—often all within a single artwork. He utilizes a vast spectrum of media in his practice, ranging from spiral bindings, spray paint, airbrush, plasticized textiles, and charcoal, which lends a three-dimensionality to this work. Known for a multidisciplinary art practice used to explore abstraction, tone, content and mark-making, White challenges the viewer to identify his radically unconventional materials and art-making methods.

Taylor Anton White has exhibited widely throughout the United States, Europe, and Asia, with solo and group presentations in New York, Los Angeles, Miami, Seoul, Taipei, Shanghai, Madrid, Mallorca, Murnau, Antwerp, Brussels, Berlin, London, Brisbane, Aspen, and beyond.

Recent solo exhibitions include presentations with Marquee Projects in Bellport, NY 2026; K Contemporary in Sante Fe, NM 2026; The Hole in New York 2025; Pulpo Gallery in Murnau, DE 2025; L21 in Mallorca, ESP 2024; G. Gallery in Seoul, KR 2023; and Roberts Projects in Los Angeles, CA 2022. His work has also been presented at major international art fairs including The Armory Show New York, Untitled Art Miami, Felix Art Fair Los Angeles, Aspen Art Fair, Taipei Dangdai, ARCO Madrid, Art Busan, KIAF Seoul, and Art021 Shanghai.

White’s work has been featured in Artnet, Whitehot Magazine, New American Paintings, Art & Object, Burnaway Magazine, and other print and digital publications.
