"And they say fishing's easy," says the artist about this painting where a man’s fishing line—with a fish at one end—humorously gets intercepted by a large bird. Meanwhile, in the foreground, a man struggles to hold onto his leashed dog by a large pine tree. In the distance, a receding ocean calmly sits below a grouping of anthropomorphized clouds.
