KAPP KAPP

ONE DAY:

KAPP KAPP

The gallerists (and twin brothers!) behind Kapp Kapp gallery take us through one busy day in their New York City lives.

10:00 AM

We’re both big Troye Sivan fans, so naturally had to catch the "Angel Baby" music video premiere this morning.

12:00 PM

Zoom hangout with Velvet Other World before their show at Kapp Kapp NY closes (don’t miss How Long Shall I Have to Wait up through October 24!).

12:45 PM

A quick pit stop at our favorite (and, objectively, the best) bubble tea in lower Manhattan – Tiger Sugar. Our shared go-to is the T6 with less sugar and less ice – highly recommend!

1:15 PM

We popped by the legendary Stanley Stellar’s Tribeca studio, as we prepare for our exhibition and accompanying publication, coming in January 2022.

3:00 PM

Enjoyed a quick sushi lunch at our local grocery haunt, Gourmet Garage (Tribeca, you already know).

3:30 PM

Perused the shelves at oo35mm, the most magical K/J-beauty shop. Sammy replaced his Missha SPF and Daniel tried (and loved) a new Poké-Ball-shaped lip balm.

2:30 PM

Discussed the latest on the Nicki Minaj / Jesy Nelson hubbub.

4:15 PM

We went for a quick gallery hop before the day closed – highlights include the WILD Alake Shilling show at Jeffrey Deitch’s smaller space and the new group show at Anonymous Gallery, curated by K.O. Nnamdie.

4:45 PM

Sammy drives back to Philadelphia and Daniel takes the C Train back to Brooklyn. The end!
