With Mars now retrograde for the rest of the year, you’re being asked to slow down in your home life. This will be a great period for reviewing the ways you tend to your family and make a home. While it may not be the easiest time to move or start a family, it will be a good time for reflection about all the people you’ve considered family in the past and the frustrations you’ve had to face at home.

The full moon eclipse on the 8th will be an intense time for everyone but with your sensitivities, you may feel its power more than others. Along with the severe energy of an eclipse, there is a tension due to influence from Uranus and Saturn. You may find yourself in an emotional state evoked by Lydia Baker’s Navel, with its somber yet formal composition of feminine figures dwarfed, even engulfed, by a large drooping plant. It may feel lonely as you confront difficult issues, but with an aspect to Mercury, you can expect wild clarity about a feeling you’ve been having lately but couldn’t pin down. You may find yourself having to relinquish control over an outmoded belief–even if it feels painful. This sort of ‘thought pruning’ that the moon is bringing to you is only here to aid your growth.

When Venus and Mercury enter Sagittarius on the 16th and 17th, you’ll notice a burst of energy and activity in your work life. There is a good opportunity here to make wild leaps at work, but be careful about hurting someone’s feelings.

When the Sun enters Sagittarius on the 22nd and we have a new moon the day after, you’ll really feel like there’s something you could do to improve your working condition and you’ll be greeted with fresh ideas for making your work more fulfilling. Be sure you are present and rested so you can receive them. Sagittarius energy is very active and wants us to dart from one thing to another–just let all these thoughts come to you, note them, and then assess a few days later.
