Hawkins Headquarters is a contemporary art gallery, architecture project located in the Blair Villa neighborhood of Atlanta, Georgia. The program has a curatorial focus on the young and emerging scenes with an emphasis on Canada and the Southern United States. Hawkins Headquarters occupies the second floor of an abandoned motel, transforming its original architecture into a fully realized contemporary art gallery. In doing so, it challenges conventional ideas of what defines a gallery space. Part gallery, part installation in itself, Hawkins Headquarters is committed to presenting exhibitions that emphasize installation, spatial intervention, and thoughtful exhibition design.
