These paintings are part of a series by Eleanor Kaminski, based on darkroom prints of the artist and her friends piling on top of one another. Each painting builds on the last, keeping the same composition while adding one more person. The works have a straightforward, everyday quality, with a subtle sense of humor that comes from the repetition and accumulation.
