RON VEASEY

Ron Veasey’s carefully rendered portraits demonstrate his fundamental interest in the human form as a vehicle for color and line. Inspired by photography books and fashion magazines, he uses vivid hues of acrylic paint to flood every plane of his pictures. Veasey creates images both graphic and dimensional that invite viewers to connect with his figures’ unflinching gazes.

Ron Veasey was born in 1957 in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Veasey’s work has been shown at Nina Johnson Gallery in Miami, Florida and 836M in San Francisco, California.
