Founded in 1974, Creative Growth Art Center is the oldest and largest studio and gallery for artists with developmental disabilities. The gallery exhibits and promotes the artists by placing their artwork in major institutions worldwide, including: MoMA; the Centre Pompidou; the Smithsonian; the American Folk Art Museum; SFMOMA; The Studio Museum of Harlem; the Brooklyn Museum; LACMA; and the Collection de L'art Brut in Lausanne.
