ABOUT:

Monique Meloche Gallery was founded in October 2000 with its debut exhibition titled "Homewrecker" at Meloche’s home. It officially opened to the public in May 2001. The gallery relocated from Wicker Park to a sprawling new space in West Town in June 2018, with an inaugural exhibition by Jeff Sonhouse. Working with an international group of emerging and established artists in all media, the gallery presents conceptually challenging installations in Chicago and at art fairs internationally, with an emphasis on curatorial and institutional outreach. Roster artists include: Ebony G. Patterson; Sanford Biggers; Rashid Johnson; Carrie Schneider; Amy Sherald; David Antonio Cruz; Brendan Fernandes; Cheryl Pope; Nate Young; Maia Cruz Palileo; and Jake Troyli; among many others.
